Who I Am
- I am an everyday working artist and craftsman, I walk into my studio, pick up a brush or any and many implements to create my art. This is a continuing practice that constitutes my life efforts and is not done for any other reason but for the pure pleasure of the creative process. Over the years I have learned that this must be an intrinsic part of my nature, so I follow and go with it.
- The longing to be creative begins at a very young age and if you are lucky enough to recognize the feeling, you become hooked.
- To engage in my craft and refine the quality of every piece I try to portray a subject or element from all angles. This just does not happen, there is a specific intention in every work of art, wether it be traditional, modern, abstract or minimalist, that is why it is so important to constantly develop your skills and knowledge of this process, we call art.
Judging wether a piece of art is good or bad is more difficult these days because of the diversity of the styles and themes that come together. So look and a work of art and ask yourself how it make you feel. What elements draw you to the work. Is it challenging or interesting, Do the colors appeal to your senses.
So now I give to you a plethora of diverse works of art, that have taken years to produce. Take your time in viewing these multifarious canvases. They are inventive, unique and as you can see the quality is there.
